My Device Will Not Connect to Wi-Fi
Internet & Wi-Fi
If the device is wireless:
-
Ensure you are choosing the correct network name & inserting the proper password. If you're inputting the proper information and the device is still giving an error when attempting to connect, try rebooting the device.
-
You may need to set up a dedicated 2.4GHZ or 5GHZ network for certain devices. Many smart home devices such as security cameras, robot vacuums, and smart appliances need a dedicated 2.4 network connection. Check your devices' Wi-Fi connectivity instructions and if necessary, you can create a dedicated network through the MR Wi-Fi application or by contacting us.
-
If your device cannot see the network to connect to, contact us to update a network setting on your Wi-Fi Router.
If the device is hard wired:
-
Ensure airplane mode is off
-
Verify your network drivers are active
-
You may need to enable the Ethernet option via the Network & Internet settings section
