You’ll have the chance to master the process of fiber optic cable installation (including operation of construction equipment and specialized tools used to build new fiber networks). You will tackle various construction tasks under the guidance of our skilled team. At Mid-Rivers we’re committed to providing comprehensive on-the-job training to all our team members, so you can step into this role with confidence and enthusiasm.

No experience required, however must be able to be trained to use various hand tools and operate equipment/vehicles. Must perform construction duties and/or be able to be trained in the Seasonal Construction Worker job duties (position requires that individual must live near the reporting location and be able to travel/stay overnight at numerous remote work locations). Must have or be able to obtain a valid MT driver’s license.

Seasonal Combination Technicians are part of a highly-skilled team that perform various tasks including installation/maintenance of cable distribution systems to provide Telephone/VoIP, Broadband, and Video services. A working knowledge of AC & DC Electronics, RF, IP and Wi-Fi Networking is preferred, but no prior experience is necessary. A Seasonal Combination Technician must present a professional demeanor at all times when working with customers, must be self-motivated, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills, computer skills, and a stable work history. Must be able to obtain a valid Montana Driver’s License.

Position requires that individual must live close enough to reporting location so that individual is able to respond to emergencies promptly.
