How do I Connect my Streaming Device to Wi-Fi?

There are many different manufactures of Smart TV or Smart TV devices. For best results, please follow the instuctions that were included with your device or TV. Below are tips for a few of the common devices to help you get started.
- Select Wired to connect your Roku device with an Ethernet jack and cable or Wireless for Wi-Fi connections.
- If you select Wired, your Roku device will automatically connect to your home network and the internet. If you select Wireless, continue to the next step.
- Select your wireless network from the list of available Wi-Fi networks. If you do not see your network, select Scan again to see all networks.
- Enter your network password. To see the password as you type, choose Show password.
- Select Connect
- Turn on your Google TV device.
- Choose a language and your region.
- Choose Set up Google TV.
Tip: If you choose Set up basic TV, you can’t use some features. Learn more about basic TV.
Finish setup with the Home app
- On your phone, open Google Home Home.
- At the top left, tap Add Add account and then Set up device and then Set up new devices in your home.
- Choose or add a home.
- Tap Scan code and allow the app to use your phone’s camera.
- Scan the QR code on your TV screen.
Tip: It may take a few minutes for your phone and TV to connect. - Follow the instructions in the Home app and on your TV screen.
- Make sure your Amazon Fire TV device is connected properly, powered on and within range of your WiFi router.
- From the Home screen, use your Fire TV remote to select Settings > Network.
- Your device will automatically detect nearby networks. Select your In-Home WiFi network from those listed.
Note: If you don’t see your network listed, select Rescan. - Enter the wireless password for your In-Home WiFi using the onscreen keyboard.
- Select Home on your remote to resume using your Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV Stick.
