Action for Eastern Montana Holiday Meals

Mid-Rivers Communications recently showed its commitment to serving its communities through a holiday partnership with Action for Eastern Montana. This year’s $10,000 will be distributed to families in need within the Action for Eastern Montana and Mid-Rivers Communications service area.  Using a gift certificate, families can shop at local grocery stores to purchase items for a holiday meal to celebrate the season.

The two organizations share a strong history and belief in supporting their communities. This practice of Mid-Rivers providing holiday funds to Action for Eastern Montana, and in turn area families, began 25 years ago when Mid-Rivers made the decision to forgo sending holiday cards and instead use those dollars to directly support area families. Since that decision, the annual donation has increased and allowed the two organizations to positively impact more families during the Holiday Season.

Action for Eastern Montana is a non-profit community action agency dedicated to assisting individuals and families toward self-sufficiency in 17 counties in Eastern Montana.

Mid-Rivers is a telecommunications cooperative serving 30,000 square miles of Eastern Montana. At Mid-Rivers, it’s the people who matter.
